Bronx, NY – 16-year-old Alissa Kolenovic was fatally struck by a truck driver on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, around 8:20 a.m. The accident occurred at Neill and Paulding Avenues.
According to police, Kolenovic was hit by the truck as the driver made a left-hand turn. She was seriously injured and rushed to the hospital where she later died. The driver, 46-year-old Joseph Zillitto Jr., was charged with failure to yield to pedestrian and failure to use due care.
