Buffalo, NY – Three people were killed after their vehicle was hit by an Amtrak train on Friday, May 17, 2024 at Felton Street and River Road in North Tonawanda. The accident happened around 8 p.m. The train was traveling from New York City to Niagara Falls when it struck the vehicle. All three occupants of the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene. The accident is under investigation. The victims were identified as 69-year-old David McMinn, 66-year-old Olive Geldart and 6-year-old Ra’Mari Geldart.
