Michelle Weiss is an experienced personal injury attorney in the Oakland office of The Barnes Firm. Prior to joining The Barnes Firm, Michelle was the managing attorney and head of litigation for a boutique personal injury law firm. Here, she headed complex litigation matters and successfully recovered millions of dollars for her clients. Over her career, she has represented individuals injured in various personal injury cases, including bike accident, brain injuries, car accidents, slip and falls, motorcycle accidents, and more.
Michelle graduated from Pacific University, where she earned her B.A. in German Studies and Political Science. During law school, she spent time overseas interning at a Chinese law firm in Shanghai and as an exchange student at the LMU in Munich, Germany, where she also interned at an IP law firm.
Michelle graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2013, earning the prestigious Best Oral Advocate award.
In addition to English, Michelle speaks fluent German and is proficient in Mandarin Chinese. During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, dancing, reading, and studying Chinese language and culture.
