Corinne Brophy is an experienced personal injury attorney in the Oakland office of The Barnes Firm. Prior to joining The Barnes Firm, she gained valuable experience by serving as a paralegal, honing her skills in case management, client intake, and drafting legal memoranda. Upon becoming an attorney, Corinne handled a variety of cases involving personal injury, commercial litigation, medical malpractice, contract disputes, elder abuse litigation, and real estate litigation.
Corinne earned her bachelor’s degree in history, anthropology, & sociology from Lafayette College. Later, she earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Connecticut Law School, where she was awarded the CALI Award for Excellence in Human Rights in International Business Law. During this time, she also studied abroad at the University of Dublin Trinity College of Law, where her studies focused on human rights and international law. Additionally, she provided non-litigation legal services to non-profit organizations through the Connecticut Urban Legal Initiative.
