A Toyota Prius crashed into scaffolding on a commercial building at 450 W. 31st St. in Midtown around 2:08 a.m. on November 1 after the 24-year-old driver failed to navigate the roadway, police said. The driver and his 21-year-old male passenger were taken to Bellevue Hospital with minor injuries. No arrests have been made.
Next stepsA 43-year-old man was critically injured when a northbound Bx41 MTA bus struck him on Webster Avenue near East 171st Street in the Bronx around 2 a.m. on November 1. Police said he had stepped into the roadway mid-block. He suffered severe head trauma and was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, while the 37-year-old bus driver remained at the scene.

The injured included an 8-year-old boy, girls ages 6 and 11, and three women, all expected to survive. Police charged the 56-year-old driver with vehicular assault and DWI-related offenses.
