My career in personal injury litigation now spans nearly two decades going back to my graduation from the IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law with my J.D. in 2002. However, after passing the Illinois Bar, I decided I wanted to establish myself further out west. I moved myself to California and passed the State Bar and worked as an associate attorney for a host of prominent firms along the way.
In 2010, I made the decision to open my own practice, the Law Office of Ronni Whitehead. I operated as the firm’s Principal Trial Attorney before making the decision to join Cellino & Barnes in 2015. Along the way, I earned many honors for my accomplishments as a legal professional—such as earning a Top 40 Attorney Advocates Under 40 distinction from the National Bar Association. After 10 years of service on the board I earned the distinction of Emeritus Board Member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and I am a member of the Million Dollars Advocates Forum. I have also served as a board member and officer for the Black Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles.
This year, I returned to serve as a senior trial attorney for The Barnes Firm in Los Angeles. Having been named to Southern California Super Lawyers in each of the previous four years, I look forward to continuing to help personal injury victims in the Los Angeles area receive compensation and justice for their suffering.
