I helped a woman. She was hurt at her place of residence, and she fell down the stairs, and she had significant injuries and a permanent limp. But she was just in such a dire circumstance. She was such a dedicated mom. She drove her son to college every day. They all lived together, and they were a close-knit family.

Even though she was really significantly hurt, she didn’t really want to go forward with the case for a very long time. She thought, ‘Whatever they offered me is okay’. And I had to really work with her to understand the severity of her injury and for her to just be patient to let the case play itself out. And we got a significant result for her, and she was so incredibly grateful because she really just had no idea. She just wanted to get back to work, to get back to her family, and for the case to be over. So, I do, you know, just think about her all the time when I’m trying to tell a client: I can’t promise the result, but when you’re significantly injured, you deserve full compensation for what happened to you
