My path to becoming a personal injury attorney started out at Canisius College, located right down the street from The Barnes Firm’s Grider Street office just north of Buffalo. While there, I graduated with honors and competed in NCAA Division I as a member of the golf team and when I have the time I still compete in local, state-wide, and United States Golf Association events. I went on to complete my J.D. at the University of Buffalo School of Law where I finished in the top 15% of my class.
Before my time at The Barnes Firm, I spent over 10 years working for insurance companies in the defense in personal injury cases. I therefore have great insight into the strategies and habits of corporate insurance litigators which I use to better understand and ultimately win cases in favor of personal injury victims. Before my time at The Barnes Firm I also represented many plaintiffs in all types of personal injury cases and I have obtained several recoveries of over one million dollars for my clients.
I currently reside in Elma with my wife, a Spanish teacher, and our son. We enjoy spending time outdoors and we have been a foster family to over 50 dogs through the Akron Canine Rescued Angels association
Cooking for my family is somewhat of a routine that is important to all of us. I cook dinner most nights during the week, which allows us to spend quality time together as a family and make healthier choices!
I have very diverse taste in music. I could pick five favorite albums and there would be five different genres of music. A particular song just depends on the context. One song I love to play loud in the car is DNA by Empire of the Sun.
I’ve actually traveled a fair amount. I’ve been skiing in Colorado, Utah, California, Wyoming and British Columbia in Canada. Some of the things I’ve done on those trips might be considered adventurous like hiking to access areas that aren’t serviced by chairlifts. I’ve also traveled to England, France and Spain.
Right now, the show Letterkenny on Hulu gets me to laugh almost every time
Having a career as an attorney is something that I am proud of. I appreciate the opportunity to work hard every day and make a difference in the lives of the people that I represent.
I’ve been to New York City for quick in and out court appearances a few times and traveled through JFK, but I’ve never had the opportunity to spend any real time in the City. That is something that I would like to do.
