I’m Ronnie Whitehead. I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. I went to law school in Chicago Kent College of Law. I’m licensed in Illinois and California. It wasn’t like I always wanted to be a lawyer, but when I was in undergrad, I was a radio and television major, so I sold radio advertising. But one of my college professors was a lawyer. I saw how he was able to use communication and the law together to advance some of his goals. When I realized that my communication skills could help people, it just was a natural progression.

I am involved in a lot of organizations in the Los Angeles community. I’m a member of the board of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, past president of the Black Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles. I do enjoy being a part of the legal community in Los Angeles. We’re a close-knit bar association. We help each other out and we work in collaboration with the community.

I want to be able to help a variety of people if they get hurt because of something that is improper or because of the negligence of the company. It just fit with my values to represent people and individuals and not corporations or companies. When I work on your case, I’m working on your case with you.
