Petaluma, CA – On Sunday, June 11, 2023, a woman was hit by a car in Petaluma, California, and is now in critical condition. The incident occurred on North McDowell Boulevard when a vehicle driving southbound attempted to turn left onto Candlewood Drive. The car collided with a pedestrian who was crossing the street in a northbound direction after stepping off the sidewalk curb. Police and paramedics arrived at the scene and found the pedestrian with significant injuries. The pedestrian, a female, was transported to a local hospital where she remains in critical condition.
