Woman Impaled After Car Jumps Curb
Bronx, NY– A woman was impaled by a metal fence after being struck by an SUV that jumped a curb. The accident happened on Friday, September 9, 2022 around 6:30 p.m. on Pelham Parkway.
According to authorities, Pauline Nirecaj, 59, was outside her apartment building when an SUV hit her and the side of the apartment building, causing her to be impaled on a fence surrounding the building. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition and died on Sunday, September 11, 2022.
