Two Injuries and Two Fatalities Reported in Buffalo Head-On Collision

Buffalo, NY – A head-on crash occurred on Sunday, January 1, 2023, just after 12 a.m. The accident occurred on Route 33 near the Jefferson Avenue exit.

According to police, a driver was travelling westbound in the eastbound lane when it struck another driver head-on. A third car then swerved to try to avoid the collision and hit the vehicles. Both drivers involved in the initial crash were pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger and the driver of the third vehicle were injured in the accident.
