Two Injured and One Dead After Los Angeles Crash
Los Angeles, CA – A multi-vehicle crash on the 10 Freeway in Mid-City on Saturday, January 21, 2023, has tragically resulted in one death and two people being critically injured. The collision occurred at around 5:40 a.m., and was initially reported as involving two cars, though the California Highway Patrol later confirmed it was a two-car crash and only one car was overturned.
The crash closed lanes of the eastbound 10 Freeway, east of Crenshaw Boulevard, for more than four hours. Footage shared to the Citizen app showed traffic being forced onto the shoulder of the road, with four lanes closed and cars being forced to use detours. The two injured people were taken to a local hospital in unknown condition.
