Two Fatalities and One Injury Reported in Westminster Collision
Westminster, CA – Two people were tragically killed and a third person sustained a leg injury in a multi-vehicle crash in Westminster on Monday, February 6, 2023. According to the Westminster Police Department, officers responded to the 14500 block of Beach Boulevard just before 1 p.m. and found four vehicles involved in the collision. Witnesses reported that an older minivan was travelling northbound in the southbound lane at a high rate of speed when it collided with three other vehicles.
First responders with the Orange County Fire Authority treated the three patients at the scene and the driver of the minivan, a man in his 80s, was declared dead. The passenger of the minivan, a woman in her 70s, was taken to the hospital but sadly succumbed to her injuries. The driver of another vehicle suffered a leg injury and was taken to UCI Medical Center. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
