Two Fatalities and One Injury Reported in I-93 Crash

Boston, MA – An accident involving a rideshare vehicle and a tow truck occurred on Saturday, October 8, 2022, on I-93 in Boston, south of exit 20. The collision occurred around 10 p.m. 

According to Massachusetts State Police, a Lexus SUV rideshare vehicle was rear-ended by a tow truck driver. The passengers of the Lexus, Delanie Fekert, 25, of Floral Park, New York, and Urashi Mandani, 25, of North Andover, were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Lexus was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital with serious injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
