Two Drivers Hospitalized After Rochester Collision
Rochester, NY – On Saturday, April 1, 2023, a collision occurred at the intersection of Carter Street and Avenue D in Rochester, NY resulting in two drivers being taken to Strong Hospital. According to the Rochester Police Department, a vehicle traveling eastbound on Avenue D through the intersection was hit by a vehicle traveling southbound on Carter Street through the same intersection.
The drivers, both female city residents aged 21 and 55, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Strong Hospital. An investigation by the police determined that a traffic ticket was issued because one of the vehicles passed through a red signal, leading to the accident.
