Two Brothers Drown in New Jersey Community Pool
Bayonne, NJ – Two teenage brothers drowned in the pool at Lincoln Community Center during community swim hours. The accident happened on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, around 8:30 p.m.
16-year-old Jack Jiang and 19-year-old Chu Ming Zheng were swimming in the deep end of the pool when they ended up in distress. Three lifeguards were on duty at the time of the accident. A lifeguard jumped into the pool to pull the teens out and administered CPR. The brothers were taken to Bayonne Medical Center where they were pronounced dead. The accident is under investigation.
