Construction Accidents
Falls from scaffolds and ladders account for nearly half of all injuries on American construction sites. In this accident, those injured should have their investigative team perform an independent legal investigation to preserve evidence. This includes reviewing:
- Evaluation of construction site working conditions
- Evaluation if construction site safety regulations are up to code
- Determination why the scaffolding collapsed
- Any environmental factors that may have caused the collapse
- Determination if proper guardrails, safety nets, and fall arrest systems were in place
Construction companies and supervisors have a responsibility to ensure all safety measures are in place and guidelines are being followed.
