Three Children Injured in Suspected DUI Crash

Antioch, CA – A crash between a Mazda and an Audi occurred Sunday, May 29, 2022, around 10:20 p.m. The crash occurred on State Route 160, just north of Antioch Bridge. 

According to police, the driver of the Mazda, suspected of having been intoxicated and traveling at a high rate of speed, crossed over the double yellow line and collided with an oncoming Audi. The driver of the Mazda died at the scene. The three children traveling in the Mazda were all injured in the crash and taken to the hospital. The driver of the Audi was also injured and taken to the hospital.
