Six People Injured in Rio Linda Car Crash

Rio Linda, CA – A car accident occurred on Friday, September 16, 2022, at the intersection of Dry Creek Road and Elkhorn Boulevard. The accident happened just after 9 p.m. 

According to reports, California Highway Patrol attempted to pull over a Honda Accord during a traffic stop. The car drove off and went through a red light where it collided with another vehicle. The pregnant driver of the vehicle that was hit was taken to the hospital for major injuries and the baby she was carrying died in the accident. The passenger of the vehicle hit, driver of the Honda, and three passengers of the Honda were also injured and taken to the hospital. The driver of the Honda was arrested on multiple charges.
