Six People Injured After Car Careens Onto Sidewalk in Washington Heights
Manhattan, NY – A woman lost control of her vehicle and careened onto a sidewalk outside R.G. Ortiz Funeral Home, near the corner of W. 190th St. and Broadway in Washington Heights. The incident occurred on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, just after 6 p.m.
According to police, the car struck six people, including two, 3-year-old, girls. A total of six people were transported to the hospital as a result of the incident. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
