Six Injuries and One Fatality Reported in Hempstead Crash

Hempstead, NY – A four car collision occurred on December 25, 2022. The crash happened around 6 p.m. at the intersection of Henry Street and Greenwich Street.

According to police, a Volkswagen slammed into an Acura causing a chain reaction. A total of four cars were involved in the crash. The driver of the Volkswagen was pronounced dead at the scene. Six others were injured and taken to the hospital. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
