San Diego Crash Leaves Two Dead and Three Injured

San Diego, CA – A crash between a 1999 Toyota Tacoma and a 2015 Toyota Sienna left two people killed and three more people injured on Saturday, May 7, 2022. The crash occurred on Rosecrans Street at Sports Arena Boulevard around 9 p.m. 

According to police, the man driving the Tacoma hit the median and went airborne. The truck landed on top of the Sienna. Two occupants of the car died at the scene; the other two occupants were taken to the hospital. Authorities say drunk driving may have been a factor in this deadly collision.  

The victims were identified as Suad Alsamarai, 81, and Ahmed Mazin Salah Alrawi, 23.
