I have always had an interest in helping people that have been hurt in an accident or by no fault of their own. I grew up with a father that practiced as a surgeon, and my brother went on to become one as well, so injuries were a common topic in our household whether you wanted to talk about them or not!
This set the stage for my own career, though I didn’t follow a medical track. I completed my J.D. at Hofstra Law School in 1996 and went on to become an attorney with Cellino & Barnes in Manhattan. Given my lifelong appreciation for assisting the recovery of injury victims, personal injury law was a natural fit.
Now at The Barnes Firm, I bring many years of personal injury experience to every case that I work on. I take pride in knowing each client and case, treating them as an individual and not merely a case number. My understanding of personal injury from multiple viewpoints allows me to better understand my clients. And in doing so, I can more effectively represent their rights and interests on helping them get the best result possible.
