I bet you’re curious about my unusual but unique name. My parents are from Turkey and I am a first generation American. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and I bravely moved to Long Island with my husband John and our children.
As a child of Turkish immigrants, my family valued education and a strong work ethic. Watching my parents work so hard to give my brother and I everything we needed taught me to never give up! The first in my immediate family to go to college, I finished my undergraduate studies at Binghamton University before completing my J.D. at Pace University in White Plains.
I spent the bulk of my career as a personal injury attorney with Cellino & Barnes and now use that experience at The Barnes Firm to help my clients get the best result possible. Every day I look forward to representing and advocating for other New Yorkers that have fallen victim to accidents and other traumatic events.
