San Diego, CA – A pedestrian was hit by a suspected DUI Driver in a moving truck on Sunday, October 2, 2022, just before 10 p.m. The crash occurred near the 1800 block of Fifth Avenue.
According to the San Diego Police Department, a man driving a Penske moving truck was driving at a high rate of speed, hit a parked vehicle, and then hit a pedestrian who was sitting on a curb. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident is under investigation.
