Bronx, NY – Tian-Rong Lin, 62, was struck and killed by a van on Saturday, May 14, 2022. The collision happened around 11 a.m. at Olmsted and Seward Avenues.
According to police, Ramon Cadeno-Ortiz was making a left turn, striking the pedestrian with his vehicle. Lin was transferred to Jacobi Hospital where she was later pronounced dead. Cadeno-Ortiz was taken into custody and charged with failure to yield to a pedestrian and failure to use due care.
