One Killed and Four Injured in Hauppauge Crash

Long Island, NY – A two car crash occurred Monday, June 6, 2022, around 1:30 a.m. on Route 347 at Brooksite Drive. 

According to police, Daneris Garcia Marquez was driving a Ford Ecoline on Route 347 when she collided with a 2019 Toyota Camry on Brooksite Drive. The driver of the Toyota, Abhishek Mukherjee, Marquez, and two passengers of the Ecoline were transported to Stony Brook University Hospital. The passenger of the Toyota, Brendan Haverty, was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
