One Fatality and One Serious Injury Reported in I-86 Collision

Almond, NY – A head-on collision occurred between 2017 Dodge Ram and a 2021 Ford tractor-trailer on Wednesday, February 8, 2023. The accident happened on I-86.

According to New York State Police, the Dodge Ram was travelling eastbound in the westbound lane when it stuck the tractor-trailer head-on. The driver of the Ram was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Ford was injured and transported to Strong Memorial Hospital by Mercy Flight.
