One Dead and Six Injured in Paterson Crash

Paterson, NJ – One person died and six were injured in a multi-vehicle car crash that occurred Tuesday, May 17, 2022, around 3:15 p.m. The crash occurred at the intersection of Main and Market streets. 

According to police, a Honda CRV hit an occupied police car, then hit another vehicle and then several pedestrians. One person was pronounced dead at the scene and six others were taken to St. Joseph’s Medical Center with injuries. This crash is under investigation.
