Oildale Crash Leaves One Dead, One Injured
Bakersfield, CA – A two-car crash occurred on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of West China Grade Loop and McCray Street.
According to California Highway Patrol, a Chevrolet Silverado and a Volvo XC90 collided at the intersection, at which point the Silverado continued on and collided with a light pole. The 43-year-old driver of the Silverado was ejected after crashing into the pole and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Volvo was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
