Nine Hospitalized and One Dead in Santa Monica Collision
Santa Monica, CA – On Saturday, April 29, 2023, a fatal car accident took place in Santa Monica, resulting in one death and nine hospitalizations. The collision occurred on Pacific Coast Highway around 3:10 p.m., according to local authorities.
The incident involved an SUV and a sedan. The SUV was attempting to make a left turn when the sedan, traveling southbound, crashed into the SUV’s passenger rear side, resulting in a T-bone collision. The impact left one passenger in the SUV with a major leg injury, and unfortunately, they later passed away at the hospital. Six adults and two small children from both vehicles were also transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The identities and ages of the victims have not been disclosed. All individuals were taken to UCLA Westwood for medical treatment.
