Staten Island, NY – An ambulance was T-boned while transporting a patient to the hospital on Friday, October 14, 2022, around 6:30 a.m. The accident happened at Jewett Avenue and Maine Avenue.  

According to reports, the ambulance was T-boned by a Jeep causing it to flip onto its side. Three EMS members, as well as the woman the ambulance was transporting were critically injured and taken to the hospital. The driver of the Jeep was also transported to the hospital. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
