Multiple Fatalities Reported in Chino Hills Collision

Chino Hills, CA – A wrong-way driver caused a multi-vehicle accident on Sunday, March 19, 2023. The crash happened on the 71 Freeway around 2:30 a.m.

According to California Highway Patrol, a driver was travelling northbound in the southbound lanes and crashed into several cars, causing a pileup involving at least four vehicles. Four people were pronounced dead at the scene. Others were injured and transported to the hospital as a result of the collision. CHP is investigating the accident.
