Multi-vehicle Crash Leaves One Dead and Several Injured

Yonkers, NY – A crash involving multiple cars and a Bee-Line bus occurred around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2022. The collision occurred on an overpass along Tuckahoe Road above the Sprain Brook Parkway.

According to reports, a BMW lost control and crossed over into oncoming traffic, striking a police sergeant driving an unmarked vehicle. The BMW then continued and hit a Westchester County Bee-Line bus with 30 people onboard. The police sergeant was taken to the hospital where he later died. The driver of the BMW as well as several people on the bus were injured in the collision. The investigation into this accident is ongoing.
