Motorcyclist Dies in Brookville Accident
Brookville, NY – A fatal accident occurred on Thursday, June 16, 2022, around 12:05 a.m. on Cedar Swamp Road.
According to police, a 21-year-old female was drunk driving a Ford sedan when she lost control, flipped her vehicle, and struck a telephone pole causing wires to fall. A 33-year-old man driving a motorcycle became entangled in these wires causing him to fall off his motorcycle. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The female driver was charged with DWI and vehicular manslaughter.
The victim was identified as Milton Diaz, of Glen Cove
