Mother of 3 Killed in Porter Ranch Crash

Los Angeles, CA – A mother of three was killed on Thursday, June 9, 2022, around 11:45 p.m. The crash occurred on 118 Freeway near Reseda Boulevard.

According to police, David Cohen, 31, was driving a Lexus SUV with his wife and three kids. He lost control of the vehicle, collided with a guardrail, hit a dirt embankment and a concrete sewer drain, and then the car caught fire. Cohen and the three children were able to get out of the vehicle. His wife Zeomara Cohen, was unable to be extricated and died at the scene. The three children, ages 4 months to 9 years old, were taken to the hospital. Cohen was arrested for suspicion of DUI.
