Injuries Reported After School Bus and Jeep Collision in The Bronx

Bronx, NY – A school bus and a Jeep collided in Co-Op City, The Bronx, resulting in a child being critically injured. The accident happened just before 3:30 p.m. on Monday, May 15, 2023, near the Hutchinson River Parkway. The male driver of the Jeep and his female passenger were taken to Jacobi Hospital in critical condition, while four children were on the bus along with the driver and an attendant. The critically injured child is currently receiving medical attention, but the other children are expected to recover.

The cause of the accident is currently unknown, but the collision has left several people severely injured. Authorities are investigating to determine what led to the crash.
