Hayward, CA – A collision between at least two vehicles occurred on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, around 9 p.m. The crash happened on Highway 84. 

According to California Highway Patrol, one person was pronounced dead at the scene. It is unclear how many others were injured in the collision.
