Garden State Parkway Crash Leaves Five Injured

Monmouth County, NJ – A three-vehicle collision injured five people around 3:15 a.m. on Monday, April 25, 2022. The crash occurred on the Garden State Parkway in Monmouth County. 

According to New Jersey State Police, an Acura MDX became disabled and the driver, plus five passengers, exited the vehicle. A GMC Sierra then struck a Hyundai Elantra, and the Hyundai struck the Acura. The Acura hit all six of the pedestrians. The driver of the Hyundai Elantra and four pedestrians suffered serious injuries. The other two pedestrians suffered moderate injuries. 

State police are investigating the cause of the accident.
