Five Injured in Crash Involving Fire Truck, Dump Truck, and Car

East Orange, NJ – A crash involving a dump truck, fire truck, and car occurred around 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. The crash occurred on Main Street near Halsted Street. 

Video evidence shows the fire truck crashed into the building facing a dump truck and multiple cars. It is believed the fire truck was on the way to a call and the other vehicles were getting out of the way when the accident occurred. Three firefighters, the driver of the dump truck, and a motorist were taken to University Hospital in Newark. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
