Employee Killed in Industrial Accident in West Babylon

West Babylon, NY – On Monday, May 8, 2023, a tragic industrial accident occurred at Omni Recycling in West Babylon, resulting in the death of an employee. Suffolk County police reported that the incident took place at approximately 1 p.m. when the worker was struck by a payloader. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
