E-bike Rider Killed by MTA Bus

Queens, NY – An MTA bus struck and killed a man riding an e-bike on Saturday, May 28, 2022, around 10:40 a.m. The crash happened at the intersection of 128th Avenue and 238th Street. 

According to police the driver of the bus was heading southbound on 238th Street when he struck the e-bike traveling eastbound on 128th Avenue. The e-bike rider was pronounced dead at the scene. The bus driver has been pulled from service as the investigation continues.
