DUI Crash Leaves One Injured and One Fatality
Walnut Creek, CA – A collision between a pickup truck and two pedestrians occurred on Saturday, July 30, 2022. The crash occurred around 1:50 a.m. near N. Main Street and Pine Street.
According to police, the pickup truck collided with two pedestrians walking on the sidewalk of N. Main Street. One pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The other was taken to the hospital with major injuries. The driver of the pickup truck, Briana Day, was arrested for driving under the influence and causing injury and gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
