Woman Injured After Falling Down Elevator Shaft

Jersey City, NJ – A woman was injured after falling down an elevator shaft at her apartment building on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. According to reports, the woman opened the door to the elevator and it was not there. She fell from the first floor and suffered severe injuries, including a broken elbow and stomach tear. The issue with the elevator is under investigation.
