Tractor Trailer Hits Two Cars & Restaurant

Hyde Park, NY – A tractor-trailer collided with two cars and then struck a building on Monday, June 20, 2022, around 10:40 a.m. The crash occurred on Salt Point Highway. 

Police say 33-year-old Craig Allen Dickson was driving a tractor trailer erratically and hit two vehicles, and then crashed into Juniors Lounge. Dickson was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of a Toyota Highlander, Kimberly Glatz, was injured and taken to the hospital. Sarah Dempsey, the tenant of the building’s upstairs apartment, was also injured and taken to the hospital. Hyde Park Police Department is investigating the crash.
