Davis, CA – Three people were killed and two more were injured in a wrong-way collision on Interstate 80 on Sunday, September 25, 2022. The crash happened around 3:10 a.m.
According to California Highway Patrol, an Infiniti sedan was driving the wrong way and collided head-on with a Hyundai sedan. Both drivers and one Infiniti passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. Two additional Infiniti passengers suffered major injuries and were transported to UC Davis Medical Center. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
