Subway Train Derailment Injures 26

Manhattan, NY – A subway train derailed occurred in the Upper West Side on Thursday, January 4, 2024 around 3 p.m. According to reports, the first car of Train 1 made contact with a disabled train car just north of 96th Street, causing the first car to derail. 26 people were injured in the accident. The passenger train was carrying around 300 people at the time of the collision.
