Morris Heights, NY – A six-story building located at 1915 Billingsley Terrace partially collapsed onto the sidewalk on Monday, December 11, 2023, around 3:30 p.m. According to reports, there is an ongoing search for potential trapped individuals by the FDNY.
The Department of Buildings will assess the structure’s stability after the search for injured victims is complete. The building has had 178 violations in the past two years, with five currently open, according to the New York City Housing Preservation and Development.
