Brooklyn, NY – Four pedestrians and one bicyclist were struck by a vehicle on Saturday, June 25, 2022, around 7 p.m. The crash happened on Ralph Avenue.
Police attempted to stop a vehicle with mismatched plates at Ralph Avenue and Chauncey Street when the vehicle took off at a high speed. The vehicle struck a bicyclist and two pedestrians at the corner of Ralph Avenue and Macon Street, and then proceeded to hit 67-year-old Lynn Christopher and her 8-year-old grandson. Christopher was pronounced dead at the scene. The bicyclist and three pedestrians were transported to the hospital in critical condition. The crash remains under investigation.
